Angkasa Pura II - Indonesia Junior League Held

10 Apr 2017, JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura II's early age soccer league - Indonesia Junior League (AP II - IJL) officially starts Sunday 9 April 2017, in the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport field followed by a total of 30 SSB teams in Jabodetabek.

Symbolically, AP II - IJL was officially opened by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin, Chairman of the PSSI Honorary Board Agum Gumelar, and Sesmenpora Gatot S. Dewa Broto

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that AP II - IJL which was supported by the Association of Indonesian Football Players (APSI) and the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) played two age groups namely the U-11 league which was joined by 16 teams and U-9 leagues with as many as 14 teams.

The league will rotate until next September with the match held every Sunday.

The Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said that the capabilities and professionalism of the industrialists and stakeholders of the domestic aviation industry have been recognized internationally, as evidenced by a number of world-class awards achieved by national airlines and airport managers.

The AP II - IJL match schedule is divided into four rounds on April 9 - August 20 regular matches, then 27 U-11 playoff August, then 3 September U-9 playoffs. Furthermore, the U-9 and U-11 semifinals were held on September 10, and the final of the two age group categories on September 17.
