Liputan6.com, Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) conducts a terminal safety campaign or Safety Campaign Terminal at 15 airports in its shade. While at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, the campaign involved 30 safety inspectors.
The Director of Angkasa Pura II, Muhammad Awaluddin led the ceremony as well as the opening of the safety campaign. According to him, this activity was the first time Angkasa Pura performed for all of its airports.
"In a year we can do more than two times, unlike the brake check campaign. This can be done 4 times a year, either routinely with a predetermined or random schedule," Awaluddin said, when met by media crews shortly after the ceremony was held, in the office area Angkasa Pura II, Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Tuesday (10/18/2018).
The implementation of a safety campaign at the airport terminal is very necessary. This is done to build understanding and remind again, if at the airport terminal there are also several activities that have the potential to cause problems or risks in safety.
"For example, there are those who carry gas cylinders. That is not allowed, or the potential that creates other fires," Awaluddin said.
Also about electricity installation, K3 elements (occupational safety and health), and various other elements that support the smooth flow of activities in the terminal. So that, both officers and employees, can recall their duties while working at the airport terminal.
"Later, who will lead the campaign, there are 30 safety inspectors below, there are around 150 officers," Awaluddin said.
