As many as 23 State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) have channeled Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) worth Rp. 22.52 billion to victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi.
The 23 BUMNs are Hutama Karya, Angkasa Pura I, Brantas Abipraya, Wijaya Karya, Pupuk Indonesia, Pertamina, Adhi Karya, PLN, Bulog, Indonesian Ship Industry, Bhanda Ghara Reksa, BNI, Borobudur Tourism Park, Bukit Asam, Kimia Farma, Jasa Marga, Angkasa Pura II, Bank Mandiri, Pindad, to Telkom.
In matters of logistics, the BUMN also provided blankets, tents, public kitchens, clothing, sanitation equipment, school barracks, rice, cooking oil, eggs, milk and instant food.
As for building materials assistance consists of shelter material, calcboard, cement, counis, mild steel, gas cylinders, barrels and pipes. While the assistance of heavy equipment namely escavator, dump truck, dozer, and airport reconstruction.
For assistance in the energy sector, there are 50 solar lights, 18 generator sets, and 414 emergency lights. While the health services provided are 1 doctor and 1 paramedic, pharmacist, nurse, medicine and ambulance. Also 181 volunteers were mobilized.
"After the earthquake and tsunami, the next day the Ministry of BUMN has moved," said the Deputy Assistant of the Deputy of Environmental Social Responsibility at the Ministry of BUMN, Indriani Widiastuti in the Forum Merdeka Barat, Jakarta, Saturday (6/10).
