MAJALENGKA - Indonesia will have more modes of airport train transportation. PT West Java International Airport (BIJB) plans to build an airport train.
Thus, there are more airport trains after previously being built in Kualanamu Airport, Minangkabau Airport and Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
"We also plan to build an airport train," said PT BIJB Director of Operations and Business Development Agus Sugeng Widodo at Kertajati Airport on Friday (11/2/2018).
According to him, the construction of this airport train has been carried out a feasibility study (FS). For the budget and when it is built, it is still confidential.
"The study already exists. But it hasn't been built yet. This will penetrate Jatibarang," he explained.
In addition, Kertajati Airport will serve cargo flights. In the near future it will cooperate with the Patimban Port operator if it has been determined.
"With Patimban Port we will also manage cargo by b to b. Land for cargo services from 8 hectares (ha) to 20 ha. It will depend on the operator," he explained.
