JAKARTA (BeritaTrans.com) - Cool, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) continues to innovate. This time it introduces a number of new features to the Indonesia Airports application.
Through the Indonesia Airports application, plane passengers can now easily buy bus tickets and travel transportation, from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to 59 destinations in Greater Jakarta to Bandung.
Chief of Digital Airport Business Project of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Yosrizal Syamsuri said, ticket purchases can be made through the My Transport channel in the Indonesia Airports application, then select the My Bus menu.
"In the My Bus menu, a traveler can choose the origin of the departure (Terminal 1, 2 or 3), then choose the destination, the number of passengers, and the payment method," Yosrizal said in Jakarta, Thursday (08/15/2019).
For payment, there are two methods to choose from namely cash or LinkAja.
"The digitization of bus services makes the ticket sales system integrated, allowing tickets to be purchased at vending machines at terminal stops and through the Indonesia Airports application," he said.
This new feature is very easy for travelers because in the Indonesia Airports application they can immediately find out what destinations are served by bus or shuttle from Soekarno-Hatta, then can directly buy tickets without having to queue or fear of running out of seats.
He said the digitization of bus services in Soekarno-Hatta began in January 2019. Through the digitization, bus ticket purchases were made at vending machines and now through the Indonesia Airports application.
Another new feature in the Indonesia Airports application that is no less interesting is the free tv and video streaming on entertainment service. To access this service, users can choose Airportainment channels then go to the OONA menu.
"We present this live tv and video on demand following the growing trend and has become a lifestyle. The Indonesia Airports application is indeed designed to meet the needs of travelers so that service at AP II airports continues to increase and be maintained, "Yosrizal said.
Not only those two, there are other new features on the Airportainment channel such as the Games menu, where a traveler can fill in spare time awaiting flight departure by playing games there.
In addition, it also features an artificial intelligence-based chat service namely Angkasa Pura II Travel Assistance System, also known as Tasya. This feature is now also getting an update so that it is hoped that it can further help the traveler with regard to services throughout the Angkasa Pura II airport.
"All these new features complement existing features, namely taxi reservations, mobile check-in, boarding pass scanners, flight schedules, tenant info and so on," he added.
Angkasa Pura II is committed to always developing the Indonesia Airports application to always meet user demand. The application development was also supported by a member of the Angkasa Pura II business group, PT Angkasa Pura Sarana (APS) Digital.
VP of APS Digital Rheza Rizqi Romadhon added, the renewal was done in order to increase the users of Indonesia Airports.
"Currently there are more than 20,000 downloaders on iOS and Android reaching above 200,000," Rheza said.
It targets the number of downloaders to reach one million for the two operating systems.
"We will continue to update so that the content can be more interesting and support services at Angkasa Pura II airports," he concluded. (omy)
