Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Directorate General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia concerning State-Owned Cooperation (KSP) at Tjilik Riwut Palangkaraya Airport Operator Unit (UPBU).
The event which was attended by the Minister of Transportation also marked the Transfer of Operation of Tjilik Riwut Airport to operations, Handover of Cooperation for the Utilization of State Property and Handover of Civil Servants between the Directorate General of Air Transportation and PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero).
Budi Karya Sumadi as Minister of Transportation, argues "Tjilik Riwut Airport currently serves approximately one million passengers per year and has the possibility of passenger surges. It is expected that the development of infrastructure and airport management systems carried out by Angkasa Pura II, will be able to encourage passenger growth and the economy in Palangkaraya and its surroundings. "
Collaboration on the Utilization of State-Owned Goods is the first in Indonesia, with this method of cooperation that will help increase state revenues through Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP).
On the same occasion, Muhammad Awaluddin, President Director of Angkasa Pura II stated, "Angkasa Pura II will focus on developing Tjilik Riwut Airport, including increasing the runway area and building a new terminal. The runway which is currently measuring 2,600 square meters becomes 3,000 square meters and the construction of a new terminal covering an area of 20,553 square meters is also underway. "
The amount of BMN that is the object of the agreement is amounting to 3.68 Trillion Rupiah with Cooperation Utilization carried out for 30 years in which PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) will invest approximately 480 billion Rupiah.
