Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is Ready to Welcome the 2018 Asian Para Games

Tangerang - Soekarno-Hatta International Airport beautifies the 3rd Asian Para Games 2018 Games which will be held on 6-13 October 2018 in Jakarta with a total number of participants estimated at 2,888 athletes and 1,826 officials from 42 countries to attend the event.

Carrying the ACTIF concept namely Airport capacity; Communication; Traffic routes; Infrastructure and Facility (technology), Angkasa Pura II increases the facilities and infrastructure of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in maximizing support for the continuation of the 2018 Asian Para Games.

Muhammad Awaluddin, President Director of Angkasa Pura II, said "Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is ready to succeed the Asian-Games 2018 Games, we are ready to make the nation's name proud in this October's sporting event."

As for a number of facility preparations carried out at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in welcoming the Asian Para Games 2018 namely Arrival Special Track, 530 Airport Helper, 393 trolley person, 239 standby Terminal Inspection Officer in Terminal 1, 2 and 3 as well as supporting terminal 2 mobilization and the terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport has been prepared by the wheelchair ramp to receive the arrival of the contingent of the groundhandling team and has prepared 5 Ambulift fleets with a capacity of approximately 6 wheelchair.

Improvement of infrastructure and facilities is done by maximizing a number of facets such as the management of contingent aircraft parking slots; Arrival & Departure management preparations and flow arrangements for the athletes of the games; Placement of drop-off areas, lift facilities and toilets for difable; Addition of conveyor and Self Check-In Counter facilities; Musholla and fast line prepared to welcome athletes; Wheelchair flow; Hospitality preparation for athletes; to the placement of a number of volunteers at several points to help regulate the flow of passengers.
