Lombok - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) symbolically handed over social assistance to earthquake victims in North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
The assistance was handed over to residents of Tanjung Subdistrict, North Lombok Regency on Saturday (8/25). The assistance provided to residents was handed over directly by the President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), Muhammad Awaluddin.
After the donation program, Awaluddin explained that the equipment and needs needed for the refugees had been handed over in stages such as refugee tents and other equipment. This assistance will then be distributed by BUMN, TNI, Polri and Regional Disaster Management Agencies.
"We work hand in hand and continue to communicate with the parties who actually took to the field to hand over aid. Until now, we have handed over command tents for residents who are still displaced. In total there are 150 tents," Awaluddin explained.
Regarding the participation of Angkasa Pura II, Awaluddin said that the total donations given by the corporation were worth 500 million rupiah, with details of 150 units of command tents with an area of 5x7m, as well as other equipment.
In detail, Awaluddin said, "In addition to corporate donations of 500 million rupiah, AP II employees through the AP II Workers Union (Sekarpura II) and the AP II Spiritual Organization participated in raising funds voluntarily until 222 million rupiahs were collected, of which two weeks ago were submitted 162 million rupiahs, and today 60 million rupiahs. In total, corporate and employee donations are around 722 million Rupiah. "
This corporate action is the participation of AP II as part of the air transportation community under the command of the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of BUMN. Plt. Director General of Civil Aviation M.
