Tangerang - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) will again present prime digital-based facilities. This time the Airport Digital Lounge will be present to facilitate the travel of passengers and service users at Angkasa Pura II airport.
"This Digital Lounge is a representation of the Airport Digital Travel Experience program in all AP II airports," said President Director of Angkasa Pura II, Muhammad Awaluddin. The Airport Digital Journey Experience itself is a major corporate program in making patterned innovations to make the world class Angkasa Pura II airports.
The presence of Airport Digital Lounge will replace the existing information counter, the facility is expected to become an information center, namely a digital service to further facilitate the travel of service users, as well as other supporting activities. The implementation of the Airport Digital Lounge will also be adjusted to the characteristics of each airport managed by Angkasa Pura II.
Some activities that can be done at the Airport Digital Lounge are information services, self check-in counters, virtual assistants through chat bots, coworking space, digital wayfinding, travel / accommodation reservations, and official airport merchandise stores. Aside from being an information center, with coworking space at the Airport Digital Lounge, it is also a solution for passengers who want to do business meetings or just find space to work at the airport. No need to worry, because every Airport Digital lounge will be accompanied by service personnel who will help passengers to carry out activities in it.
Airport Digital Lounge was inaugurated on August 11, 2018 ago by BUMN Minister Rini Sumarno and BUMN Karya Budi Karya Sumadi at the seminar & exhibition organized by Angkasa Pura II themed "Airport of the Future: Smart Connected Aiport in Disruptive Era". On the same occasion, the Minister of BUMN also inaugurated other digital facilities such as: ChatBot Modernization Contact Center, Digital Airport Hotel, Airport Operation Control Center and Wi-Shock, high-speed wifi facilities at the airport.
The Airport Digital Lounge is also equipped with a smart robot named DILO. At this time there are 2 installed DILO units. 1 DILO unit has been actively operating at the Airport Digital Lounge Terminal 2 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, while 1 other DILO unit is still standby to be operated when the Airport Digital Lounge Terminal 3 of the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is complete.
The DILO smart robot has multimedia features (music, videos, documents) via a touch screen on a robot or projector. If you want to move the robot's physicality, remote DILO operation through the Q-link application. This smart robot can also dance with music, and can move in any direction and can avoid obstacles except glass. To manage robotic content and settings, it can be done through Multi Platform System (MPS): Content Management System. In the future, the DILO robot will be filled with the contents of the 2018 airport and Asian Games and the integration of chatbot (TASYA application) into the robot.
"Airport Digital Lounge and DILO robots are integrated service centers from Angkasa Pura II that combine the ease of airport information services with the latest digital technology (state of the art technology)," Awaluddin concluded.
For future plans, all Angkasa Pura II branches will be equipped with Airport Digital Lounge and DILO for each of their airports.
AP II Provides Incentives in the Framework of the 73rd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia

In order to celebrate Indonesia's independence day, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) provides relief for aeronautical service fees to Air Transport Business Entities that carry out domestic flight services with narrow body aircraft types on August 17, 2018. In accordance with the Republic of Indonesia's independence day, Angkasa Pura II provides a discount of 17% for landing service fees, 8% for counter service fees, and 45% for aviobridge service fees.
"Because this is the Republic of Indonesia's independence day, we want to participate in celebrating it by giving thanks and rewards for airlines that carry out domestic flight services," Awaluddin said.
