Eid Mubarak Transportation 2018 Done Well and Successful at All PT Angkasa Pura II Airports

Management operational and homecoming and back home service during the Eid Mubarak Transport 2018  period at 15 airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) well done and succes.

This can be seen from the movement of passengers on H-8 to H+8 (June 7 to June 24, 2018) at 15 AP II airports recorded at 6.1 million passengers, up 5.2 percent compared to the same period last year. For the movement of aircraft on Eid Mubarak transportation this year was realized at 43,000 movements, up 3.3% compared to last year and for extra flight realized by 1300 flights.

When grouped, the number of passengers on the homecoming H-8 to H+1 (June 7 to June 15, 2018) is 3 million passengers and at H+2 to H+8 return home (June 16 to June 24, 2018) as many as 3.1 million passengers.

Specifically for passenger movements at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the number of passenger movements on H-8 to H+8 was 3.58 million passengers, of which there were 1.8 million passengers and in the period of backflow of 1.78 million passenger.

 President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin said, "In the Eid Mubarak Transportation period both from the homecoming and return back side AP II has served more than 6 million passengers where it has increased significantly from 2017 which is only 5.5 million passenger".

"The fluency and successful implementation of the Eid Mubarak Transportation 2018 is inseparable from 3 key factors, First, Solid cooperation of all airport stakeholders from Airlines, AirNav, Airport Authority, Customs, Immigration, Balai Karantina and also security from the Police and TNI. Second, the speed of service to users as a consequence of service digitalization. And the last is the Operational Discipline by maximizing the operational process so that operations are more effective and efficient, "Awaluddin added.

As a service standard during the Eid Mubarak Transportation period  2018 through the operation of 2 new airports managed by the company that are Banyuwangi and Kertajati, as well as contributing airport facilities and services that have been provided by special service providers at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport such as Airport Helper, Golf Car Aid, Mobile Assistant Check-In, Drive Thru Passenger Pick-up Lane, Transit Oriented Development (TOD), Vehicle Inpatient Parking, SkyTrain, and Airport Train.

The appreciation for the success of the Eid Mubarak Transportation 2018 in 15 airports managed by the company was also conveyed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, BUMN Minister Rini M. Soemarno, Tourism Minister Arif Yahya, Deputy Chief of Police Komjen. Pol. Syafruddin, Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives and RI Ombudsman.
