Angkasa Pura II and LPPNPI Committed In Improving Airport Operation and Air Navigation Quality

As a supporter of supporting airport quality improvement, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) synergizes with the Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Provider Institute (LPPNPI) which is marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) relating to the Implementation of Operational Technical Coordination of Airport Services and Flight Navigation Navigation.

The signing of the MoU was carried out by President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin and Managing Director of the Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Provider (LPPNPI) Novie Riyanto Rahardjo at Kertajati International Airport witnessed by Director General of Air Transportation Agus Santoso.

The two state-owned corporations agreed to sign the MoU as an effort to extend the validity period of the previous MoU and Technical Agreement (Operational Coordination Agreement).

Director General of Air Transportation Agus Santoso said, "We as regulators strongly support the extension of this MoU to ensure the level of service and flight safety is maintained".

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin explained, "We hope this collaboration needs to be improved and improve the quality between airport operators and navigation operators to improve the quality of operations and services themselves at the airport. In addition, this collaboration is clearly a form of positive synergy between BUMNs that can not only increase the capacity of each company, it can also contribute positively to service users and the community ".

The MoU for the Implementation of Operational Technical Coordination of Airport Services and Aviation Navigation Services will be valid for 5 (five) years with a space for participation which includes the following:

a. Operational Airport Services and Aviation Navigation Services;
b. Utilization of Electronic Facilities, Airfield, Electrical, Mechanical, Air Lighting Systems, Waste Waste Installation, Airport Engineering Facilities, and Other Supporting Facilities;
c. Cooperation in the field of human resources;
d. Related information related to navigation and inter-airports, including related to information, about planning, development, and airports, related to navigation and / or convenience, airport operators and flight navigation operators;
e. Shared land use;
f. Preparation of airport services and navigation services at the airport to be carried out by AP II.

This collaboration is a strategic step taken by the company as the implementation of the company's strategic program namely "Becoming One Million Aircraft Movement" in all AP II airports.

"AP II has managed 15 major airports in Indonesia with total passengers who have moved more than 100 million passengers and we have managed to reach 7 new airports that have the potential to drive our strategic program. Therefore, it is important for us to always build cooperation with our stakeholders and improve more quality operational services, "Awaluddin concluded.
