The success of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) in managing 15 airports coincides with corporate social and responsibility (CSR) programs that have a direct impact on the community.

This time, PT Angkasa Pura II has collaborated with the Kick Andy Foundation to distribute 70 free prosthetic limbs to residents in Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency in the auditorium of the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport 600 office buildings on Wednesday (03/21/2018).

Before being distributed, on December 15, 2017 at the Tangerang District Social Service Office and on January 4, 2018 at the Tangerang City Social Service Office measurements were taken.

PT Angkasa Pura II's Managing Director, Muhammad Awaluddin stated. "PT AP II has always been committed to always realizing community care through the CSR Program / Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL)."

In general, participants who received free prosthetic legs experienced various limitations. Like due to accidents and sugar (diabetes).

"The provision of fake legs is one form of our concern for citizens to be able to ease the burden. Besides working with Kick Andy, we are also assisted by the Tangerang District Social Service and Tangerang City, "he said.

For information, PT Angkasa Pura II and Kick Andy Foundation have signed an MoU in distributing free prosthetic limbs at airport branch offices in various regions of Indonesia.

After wearing fake legs, the participants will be invited to try out the skytrain transportation at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

PT Angkasa Pura II thanked all participants and all staff involved in determining the provision of fake leg assistance to increase mutual welfare. The total assistance in 13 branches reached IDR 1.25 billion.

"Total aid of Rp1.25 billion. This is a very good start in the field of health. In the future we hope that not only in the health sector, but other fields, such as education and religion, can work together, "he explained.
