Operational Disturbance on Skytrain, Service Returns Normal

PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) confirmed that there had been an operational disruption to the Skytrain at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on January 7, 2018 at 09.45 WIB.

"Operational disruption occurred and passengers were immediately directed to the nearest terminal using the emergency walkway in accordance with the procedures and immediately prepared the Shuttle Bus to replace the temporary Skytrain service," said PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Vice President of Corporate Communication Yado Yarismano.

According to Yado, the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport CGK Skytrain System has a very good protection system so that if there is a malfunction detected in the Skytrain operating system, the Skytrain protection system works immediately and the Skytrain stops immediately. Interference is detected in the electricity network and can be handled quickly within 60 minutes. The SOP has been implemented well and now after checking the Skytrain can operate normally again at 11:15 WIB.
