Remove Traveler Confusion, PT Angkasa Pura II Opens Corona Related Contact Center at Number 138

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) prepared the Airport 138 Contact Center service to become the latest information center to the public about the influence of Corona (COVID-19) on traveler trips, flights and services at 19 airports managed by the company.

The contact center service was launched today, Saturday 7 March 2020, starting at 17:00 WIB.

Through this service, a traveler or the public can find out various up-to-date information, including flight information at 19 PT Angkasa Pura II airports in the midst of COVID-19 challenges, then recommended trips to and from COVID-19 infected countries, COVID-19 dissemination prevention programs in 19 PT Angkasa Pura II airport, and so on.

PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that through the Contact Center Airport 138 it was hoped that travelers could find information clearly, quickly and from reliable sources.

"If a traveler or the public has questions regarding Corona's influence on various aviation services and services at PT Angkasa Pura II airports, it can directly call PT Angkasa Pura II by pressing number 138 on a cellular telephone or telephone."

"The existence of the Contact Center Airport 138 is an effort of PT Angkasa Pura II to suppress the confusion that may arise among travelers such as flight schedules, policies regarding travel restrictions, or health inspection procedures at the international arrival terminal, amidst the global challenges of COVID-19," Muhammad said Awaluddin.

The Airport 138 Contact Center also collaborates with other airport stakeholders such as Immigration, Customs and Excise, Quarantine, airlines, the Port Health Office, and so on.

"Every traveler or public who asks will get an answer or solution. If the answer requires confirmation from another agency then we will be accommodated first and then we will contact the caller again, "explained Muhammad Awaluddin.

PT Angkasa Pura II currently manages 19 airports in Indonesia, namely Soekarno-Hatta (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Kertajati (Majalengka), Radin Inten II (Lampung), HAS Hanandjoeddin (Belitung), Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjung Pinang), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang).

Then, Banyuwangi International Airport, Sultan Iskandar Muda (Aceh), Minangkabau (Padang), Supadio (Pontianak), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Kualanamu (Deli Serdang) and Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya).
