24 Jan 2021

Jakarta - Earthquake victims in Mamuju, West Sulawesi, and flood victims in South Kalimantan need our help.

In line with this, a number of employees of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) went to the two locations of the disaster to become volunteers to provide as much assistance as possible and also channel assistance to the victims of the community.

Meanwhile, PT Angkasa Pura II volunteers join and coordinate with the BUMN Care Task Force in West Sulawesi and South Kalimantan.

PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the company appreciated employees who were moved to volunteer to help victims.

"PT Angkasa Pura II coordinates with various parties, especially those who are members of the BUMN Care program to help our brothers and sisters in West Sulawesi and South Kalimantan. We are concerned, and will help as much as possible. "

"We also really support and appreciate the employees of PT Angkasa Pura II who are moved to become volunteers. We are very grateful that the employees of PT Angkasa Pura II have a very high sense of solidarity. They are ready to volunteer at any time when our relatives need help, anytime and anywhere, ”said Muhammad Awaluddin.

Muhammad Awaluddin added that the task of being a volunteer was clearly not easy.

"Hopefully PT Angkasa Pura II employees and all volunteers from various agencies, as well as personnel on duty can carry out their duties well," added Muhammad Awaluddin.

PT Angkasa Pura II employees who volunteered in South Kalimantan departed from Jakarta to the earthquake site in Mamuju on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, with one of the missions to distribute aid in the form of basic necessities, medicines, vitamins and other health needs.

Assistance from PT Angkasa Pura II for flood victims in South Kalimantan is focused on the Banjar Regency Refugee Post at the Demang Lehman Stadium (Martapura), then the Martapura Barta District and the East Martapura District.

Meanwhile, employees who volunteered in West Sulawesi departed from Jakarta on Thursday, January 21, 2021, to go to the flood site. Volunteers also distribute aid in the form of basic necessities, medicines, vitamins, medical equipment, and other equipment needed such as tarpaulins and tents.

The total initial emergency response assistance from PT Angkasa Pura II which was distributed to victims of natural disasters in West Sulawesi and South Kalimantan was around Rp120 million in the form of groceries, medicines, vitamins, medical devices, and so on.

Meanwhile, employees of PT Angkasa Pura II through the PT Angkasa Pura II Employees Union (Sekarpura II) also raised donations for Sekarpura II Peduli aimed at helping disaster victims in West Sulawesi and South Kalimantan.

PT Angkasa Pura II will continue to coordinate with various agencies to ensure assistance for victims of natural disasters in South Sulawesi and South Kalimantan.
